RE: Servo city mass sell off/ huge savings
damn that is cheap. it's even cheaper for me to buy them from US and get them sent over here to AUS. Save roughly $140 on what I need which includes postage as well.

Darn Right it's Cheap compared to Oz Prices.
After seeing that, I just spent a bunch of money on some new Digitals for planes I don't even have yet
(And They're going to Oz).

Whoo Hoo! Thanks E-Mo! Just bought an entire plane full of 755MG's at about 100.00 less than the JR's I was going to use.
4*60--Try again. The site must have just been busy. I tried about 10 times over two hours before it finally opened.

Good info guys, got three planes worth today for chi-ching. I am curious about regearing the 5945's.
How do you know they need it...how much time did you get them on an airframe ie how long did they last? I just wanting to know what were your tell tale signs?
Thanks...the servo's were a good deal.

When the surface moves too much while wiggling it with your hand. There should only be a little play, not a 1/4 inch at the trailing edge of the surface.

Yep, I ordered some 5955TG and 5945MG servos Sunday. Went back to today to get some 5475 to have on hand for some basic planes and the sale was done. Not to bad though, I got the stuff I really needed.

Did you really get what you ordered. I ordered long before the site was down and they accepted the order. I paid through Paypal. Then today I get a partial refund. They shipped out a partial order and could not fill 4 servos and other stuff. I drive to the US to pick up my orders (hours). I pay for someone to receive them. I got no communication until they said it shipped AND THEN they said partial refund. This is damn ridiculous. They could have phoned, emailed, whatever to ask what I wanted done with this order. Iwas early on in the sale ! Absolutely peed off about this way of handling Ecommerce. Email is there for a reason ServoCity!
Take your order and shove it and give me mymoney back if you like. I'll tell the receiver to refuse it if you like.
Update. Effort is being made to fulfill the majority of the order and I do appreciate that.

RE: Servo city mass sell off/ huge savings
Well,
I haven't actually recieved anything yet, other than the order confirmation e-mail. The site said 2-3 day shipping. We shall see.
I ordered early in the sale also (Sunday). Having a lot of customers that ordered during the sale, and not getting their items would be one way of reducing a client base...

RE: Servo city mass sell off/ huge savings
We are doing our very best and all of us are staying up late to get all the orders out. We did run out of some items though unfortunately. We have more stock coming in next week though to try and fill servos that did not get shipped this week. We really appreciate everyone having patients with us and greatly appreciate the business!
Thanks again

Sorry---you fine folks at servo city need to honor your sale prices & fill orders placed early in the sale
no communication just a refund to a p-p account is not right. You must have known a sale of this magnitude
would be overwhelming.
Shame on you for not overseeing the volume of merchandise going out & making sure you had sufficient stock to fill orders during the sale.

RE: Servo city mass sell off/ huge savings
E-Mo - I know that we would have tried to call or email like we did with many others. I will find out what happened. Some customers did not include phone numbers and many times the email addresses bounce back.
We did run out of some items and if there was something that was comparable, even higher in price we offered it. We are not in the business to turn customers away even if it costs us a little. On some items like discontinued Futaba servos, there was not to much we could do but we even contacted customers to see if there was another servo they could use instead. We will make it right with you, just give us a call.
