Another distributor wouldn't necessarily be a bad thing would it?
Who else besides Troy Built sells SD planes right now?
I think they are being called TOC Extreme these days, but I could be wrong!

Will you can just about expect lower qaulity models from Thunder Tiger as they us some really
cheap and crappy wood.IMO.
At least that has been my experience.

I had an email from SD-Models that said Thunder Tiger is indeed becoming the main distributor for them, how this affects TOC I have no idea but suspect it will mean no change. I don't think it will necesarily mean a lower quality product if they stick with the same factory, but maybe they are planning to use TT larger marketing ability?

Look on the SD Models web site, there's a list of 10 other dealers beside Troybuilt. I bought a 35% Yak High Performace from one of them for $174 less than Troybuilt is selling them.
