Horizon Hobbies Pro-Lites. they don't flat spot and they hold up well to pavement.

Kavan has nice wheels, they are available in bearing versions. The bushings pop out anyways, as I did with my first set. I have found them to be durable and they are very lite.

Dubro's standard's are very durable, most likely not the lightest though. Any of the lightweight tire/wheel combos don't seem to hold up real well, IMO.

Default tires

Thanks Guys for the advise I think your right mglavin I might have to try a heavier tire to get one that lasts on pavement the robart looks promising with a bearing and aluminum hub. But they are 1.2oz heavier each than my Sullivan's but maybe they will last a season or two Thanks again Mark,

I think Tapio has it right. The Kavans, are made out of plastic and tend to skid on pavement instead of gringing a flat spot on a softer tire. The problem with RC is that we are not sitting in the cockpit making it extreamly difficult to avoid putting heavy side loads on the tires during landing.

Hey Mark,

I've flown it and am quite sure the extra 2.4 oz won't hurt it..... At least not as bad as some of those landings .
