ultra-sport 1000 balance?
I aquired an ultrasport 1000 which previously had an os 108 and 12 oz. of lead in the front.I am not sure where it balanced with the 108.With a Saito 180 mounted it needs 19 oz. on the motor to balance on the spar!With a BGX-1 and tuned pipe it needs 2 oz. on the tail! but the 20/8 prop won't clear without making longer gear.Does anyone have some experience with this plane and the balance point as I don't have the plans nor book? PS-I flew it with the 180 an no weight and loved the motor but it was all I could do to get the plane back on the ground. Dave

I didnt have to add any weight to mine. I used a 5 cell 1400mah pack, everything in the standard location. Went with a 20oz tank. Daz...
