DO yourself a favor and don't put a gas engine on it and possibly skip nitroplanes all together.

It will come out too heavy with a gas engine and become a flying brick in a hurry. I made the mistake of getting the 1.40 Yak awhile back.. it was my first gasser and the wingloading ended up being 45 sq/oz. The specs are very similar.

There aren't a lot of 72" wingspan planes that can support a gas engine without being way heavy.

The most popular one right now is the EF 74".. it's only 2" more wing.. but the wing area is huge so it can support a gas engine.

As far as nitroplanes quality or lack of... I suggest some reading, most are not very happy with the quality of the planes.

Hope this helps.

most are not happy? most people assume their bad airplanes because of the name, or lack of decent instructions. Most people buying an airplane should have experience with building. I myself have two Nitroplanes models, and am happy with both! Granted the instructions are terrible, but overall great planes! For the money, these airplanes cant be beat.
