During my pre-season inspection of my 1/4 BUSA Cub I discovered that one of the ring terminals that are soldered to the music wire that connects to the cabin top that supports the wing... had fatiqued and broken. I am having a hard time finding a suitable replacement locally and am ready to forget about flying in our local Giant Scale meet this weekend. Has anyone else encountered this problem with the ring terminals breaking and is there a better fix than the original system?
P.S. - A good example why we yearly fine comb inspect and pre-flight these birds... undiscovered... this was a disaster soon to happen.
