RE: Recommend a good plane for a DA50
theres still another choice out there as well.take a look at 3DHobby's 87 inch extra shp..I fly the smaller electric versions and without question are the best planes and a bit better than extreme edge ..I have a DL50 and am myself hunting around for a 50cc plane.I also looked at hanger 9 extra 260 and troybuilt models yak.actually there several choices.I think you just go with your gut and get flying .

RE: Recommend a good plane for a DA50
Im more than likely going with the H9 carden Yak54, my checklist includes
DA50
5 x hitec5955 servos
1 x digital servo for throttle
all the necessary connections/extensions
2 switches
6.0volt 3000mah battery for receiver
4.8 2000mah battery for ignition
either 7 or 9 channel receiver (I have a JR9303 its going to)
anything else? Thanks again.

pilot51,
You are making the right choice on the H9 Yak over the EF Extra in my opinion. I flew both this weekend and for me the H9 Yak is hands down a better flying plane. The Yak tracks very well and seems a lot bigger in the air than the EF. The Yak also lands like a feather. Also, the Yak had no mixing at all on the transmitter and flew knife edge with just a touch of up elevator. The EF, given it's inherent incidence problem, needed 4% of up elevator flying knife edge from right to left. It needed 1% down elevator when flying left to right. Every EF plane I have personally seen has the incidence off on the tail from the factory. That is not to say they are all that way. It is just what I have seen. Now it cannot be said that the H9 Yak is without problems. However, I feel once you get it built and work out the little issues it is a much better flying plane.
