Man........I cant beleive you guys. I am wondering if I should move over there. You guys seem to get all of the new planes first, it must be nice.
That plane was super bad at the Huckfest last year. Looks like I will have to get a little more overtime between now and when these bad boys get here.

Where are those 10 servos going? Will you be purchasing more for the rudder? That's an interesting looking tray they have in the fuse - looks to be for a bellcrank type setup? Hopefully you will be using 3 of those hitecs on the rudder, or two higher-powered servos?
I think I might have to get one of these as a replacement for my QB if it ever bites the dust - I got wood the first time i saw it!

I am pretty sure that the tray is designed for one Seiko.
Those ten servos plus one Seiko should be just enough. The proto-type had a Seiko driven by its own 2100mah LiPo. Worked good best I could tell.

We are looking at the rudder at the moment, looks like it will be a seiko yes..
3 servos per aileron and 2 per ele half.....
not sure there have even been seven built, i think they may have played with designs etc

That makes sense. I wonder if there is a tail-mounted rudder servo option, or another tray option for those that will not be using a Seiko? Are the ailerons and elevators pre-hinged? they look like pocket-style pin hinges in the pics.

Yea all of the surfaces are pre hinged with a carbon rod through the middle. so the rudder is removable

I know of at least two here in the States, but I don't think either of them are flying now due to crashes. I know one was fixable but don't know if it has been repaired. Yes, one of them is the one that Chris had at Atlanta Huckfest. I don't know if they were actually #1 and #2, but I would think so. I got one of the first 110" Yaks and it was #13, I know there were only about 5 of them in the states at that time.

Tom, it looks like you need a bigger house
It sure is a sweet looking plane. The photos don't do it enough justice. Here is a vid I took of the prototype at the Atlanta Huckfest with Mr. H on the sticks. This plane is awesome in person. I have hopes it will be my first 40% bird.

One of Russel just as my camera ran out of battery.

Somewhere it was mentioned in another thread that the planes would start getting serial numbers so that the wings and stabs that have been checked for alignment at the factory. If true it is a new level added to an already nicely manufactured line of planes.
I am subscribed to this thread.

We're all watching and waiting now that you broke the news! How about some pics of the included hardware? If they keep up their high quality, include all hardware that is usable theme, this is going to be a keeper!

AAAhhh - Tom, you should have accepted my mighty engine deal, you could have had it finished by now! Or are you buying time while you remove a wall from the house, so you have room to get it in and out??!!
