RE: Yak-55M 30%
Hanko,
There are a few Yak55 SP ARF's out there but I'm not aware of any 50cc Yak55M arfs. Two different birds...
If you have a link to the Yak55 M please post it, I would be interested myself...
Thanks,
Ed

RE: Yak-55M 30%
Hi guys...
Sorry about that... I should have posted a link with a picture. Krill makes a 37% which won't fit in my Mazda 3!!!!
http://www.krill-model.com/eu/en/ind...132&gallery=34
I REALLY like the look of this bird... with the canopy that comes down to the fuse and it's tail feathers It looks like a chipmunk on steroids. Bud Granley flies one of these at airshows and holy cow it's awesome to see!!!

Yes, I understand now. Bill Hempel makes a 40% and 50% version, neither of which will help you!
Flair used to make a kit of this, maybe 15 years ago. I don't know whether they are still available.
You could also try this one, although I don't know who would import it to NA: http://goldwingrc.com/en/ProductView.asp?ID=163

RE: Yak-55M 30%
Thanks for the comments guys...
The goldwingrc one is the type I'm hoping to get. It's the Yak 55 that does not have a turtleback canopy but rather a bubble top canopy that goes back down to the fuse.
Time will tell... In the next year or so I'd like to get one of these.
Thanks again.

RE: Yak-55M 30%
according to a tip from helodrvr, he told me that http://www.dietrichaircraft.com could possibly be the connection for those wanting yak 55m...... So i immediately emailed them this is what Bill had to say....
Keep an eye on the website, we are going to be test marketing them here in the states and should have them next month as the exclusive distributors.

I did confirm with Bill at dietrichaircraft.com that a container filled with gold wings aircraft should arrive in about 20 days. YAK55M, YAK55SP, but no Raven. No price yet!

RE: Yak-55M 30%
www.dietrichaircraft.com is taking pre-orders for the 55M and 55SP. I think 695.00. www.ohiomodelplanes.com is also going to bring in the little brother of its 85cc Yak-55. It is made by EG aircraft. www.egaircraft.com. If you ask me, looks like they all come from the same company.

RE: Yak-55M 30%
I have the Global RC 55M in the UK with a DA50 and it is awesome.
Built very straight and no trim on test flight, 3D's with the best of them and can do precision as well.
Have you seen this video? [link]http://vimeo.com/4753902[/link]
I can't fly anywhere near this, but it is nice to know that it can do it, and that the only thing holding it back is my flying ability!!!
