Default Prop clearance...how much is enough

Hello...

I'm putting an 80 cc into my Lanier Edge 540 87".

I'll be using a 25-10.

With the aircraft leveled on a table the prop clearance is 2.5".

What are your thoughts??

Chris

That depends on how bumpy your runway is and how well you land as well.

It's grass but in good shape. I fully expect to have to clean the green off the blades!!!

Yo Jake,

I totally agree!!! IF your prop is still there when you taxi up, you have enough!!!!

I'm planning on the MT80 at this point.

The Lanier Edge was a tad porky but with an 80cc it should go just fine! (I am at 3500' above sea level... the extra cc's are a necessity!!!!)
