i have a problem with tower, me and my french friends, spend a lot of money at tower, on my last order, one prop (22*10 top flite) was on back order abd shipping was 26.5 us dollar, more than my total previous order. Do you think it is normal ?

Sometimes if part of your order was not shipped due to being backordered..you won't get the discount from their site UNTIL the last part is shipped.

Did they basically not pay the discount? was your order just above say 150.00? but the prop they didn't ship dropped it below the discount cutoff?

I am not sure if they offer free shipping out of country to members..But possibly that was added to the bill until it all ships...

I have ordered from Tower quite a few times. Whenever there is an item that is backordered they have only charged me the original shipping fee for the order (as if the product was shipped with the rest of the order). I thought they had some sort of policy along those lines.

Have you e-mailed them for clarification?

Isn't there an option to hold entire shipment until the backordered item is ready to ship? Being in another country you'd want to select that option. Some people only charge for one shipping charge even though they ship back ordered items separately, but that may only be continental US. I don't know their policy since I have never ordered anything from them.

i don't think there is this option, and according to me, my 45$ discount for order is nothing because shipping cost of my back order...
