NEED INFO ON 86" CORBY STARLETT
I just bought a used 86 " corby starlett. does anyone out there have any information on this plane? I need engine recommendation, servo recommendation and CG. I did a search on RCU and there is almost nothing on this plane. I dont even know who makes it. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

RE: NEED INFO ON 86
My friend has one. I think it was made by Sportsman Aviation, now long gone. (And sold at Hobby People.) He uses a Saito 150 in his, which is plenty of power when it runs well. He's been having problems with the engine though, and has had a number of deadsticks with it. It doesn't glide real well, as you might imagine, due to the huge cross section of the wing and fuselage. When the engine is running good, the plane is a big kittycat from the looks of it...very much like any low wing sport plane, just huge! Jon
