Wow. Very jealous. I got to see it earlier this year on my trip to top gun but didn't get up and personal like that. Great detail photos. Will come in handy when I get back into my Paige Gee Bee.

Nice pictures. I see you made it to Kermit Weeks museum. The Sutherland in the back I seen fly in England often in the late 80's. He has a very nice collection. Im going to Florida next May for TopGun. I may have to check it out

here is a few pics from the first flight, pics are take off and landing, i killed the engine just before touch down because i was running out of runway. engine sagged (overheated) and did emergency landing after 10-12 min flight
going to add the baffles to cure that issue. running 3W-150 for power. found out a out of trim gee bee takes every bit of your attention to get it trimed out at that speed! turns out the balance is dead on!! it was mainly rudder trim that gave me issues and found i need to add more expo to the ailerons, man they were quick!! i could not beleave how fast this thing is at full power! eats up the airspace quick!
i did love how this plane lands, no nonsense just unreal!
now that maiden is done i need to order the graphics for it.
anyone add smoke?? or does it add too much weight?

Das ist der 7 Zylinder EVO von Horizon Hobby mit 160ccm!

Das mit dem Gewicht wird sich ausgehen, nicht arg viel schwerer wie der DA150 mit kompletter Auspuffanlage** ;-)

so far only this one flight, adding baffles to cowl to keep the engine cool. hurricane sandy had it too windy to fly this past weekend. maybe this coming sunday

@eagledancer: At the time I flew the Gee Bee without dummy radial I put some wood inside the cowl to cool the engine down.

Easy and works PERFECT!!

Ich hatte Dich mal angeschrieben, aber keine Antwort. Vielleicht kam auch nix an.

Das mit dem Gewicht h&auml;tte ich nicht gedacht, aber leistungsm&auml;&szlig;ig ist der Stern sicher unterlegen?
Aber nat&uuml;rlich sowas von scale, auch wenn 2 Zylinder fehlen...

Hast Du lange auf den Stern warten m&uuml;ssen? Wo hast du ihn gekauft?

Hello Hannes... Engine looks nice, I would be interested in the Weight of this Motor. Is it heavier than the Moki 250? I Certainly hope you have plans to do Something about the Seams this time, then Perhaps Repaint it as well, Then it will look Sharp! Whats another 2000.00 for a Nice Paint Job? RIGHT?! :)

The MOKI 250 is bigger and heavier, the EVO is 4800g!

Hello Hannes... Thanks for the Video and Links to this Motor... Personal opinion, Although it looks Great and is lighter than the Moki, It certainly doesn't have the Moki Sound... I also Noticed the Idle is a little faster than the 250 Moki as well. What is the Specs for the Idle on this motor? Just Curious.
