RE: saito 180
Saito 26 (160) or 36 (220) if you like the Saito engines. Their 4-stroke gas engines are excellent and very economical on the fuel useage.
I flew my Saito FG-36 for over 40 minutes on one tank
Not planned, but my throttle servo stuck and I had to run the fuel out.

Its a long thread but if you have some machining skills, or know somebody that does, it can be done. BTW... You DON"T need to put a needle bearing on the con rod. Just run more oil in the fuel like the gas Saitos recommend.
There is a big thread on the factory gas Saitos and the general consensus is that the carbs suck. I would definitely read all I could before spending that kind of money. If you put a regular Walbro like out lined in the thread I linked above you gain all the benefits and none of the compromises of the Factory Saitos..... Just FYI.
In the end you'll have to decide what you're capable of doing. There are always good deals for used glow Saito 1.50s and 1.80s if you want to try it.
