OK Guys;
I am looking for opinions and reviews on a plane that has been around since 2009.
The Eclipse 50 by AMR.
I have just spent the last week looking around the web and there is NOTHING about this AC except the manufacturer's opinion (which is POSITIVE - go figure)
NOW! - I am not saying that there is anything wrong with this AC - it looks GREAT on the Manufacturer's web site and their video makes it look like a dream to fly (low wing sport - 50cc scale)
BUT! after at LEAST two years on the market I can find NO REVIEWS on this plane! [:@]
WHY??
I have the opportunity to get a good deal on an Eclipse - but I would like some kind of review / opinion on the plane OTHER than the manufacturer...
Just to settle my 'Nerves', Can ANYONE Assist? [

You must not have looked very far.
Over in the "kit" area is a lot of discussion on the Eclipse 50

And my video on YouTube

I saw that thread and it is as I said - data from the manufacturer.
It is all very nice it looks perfect and flys like a dream - just like an advertisement.
I'm not arguing with AMR's claims, it looks like a great Sport Plane in the giant scale - I would just like a 'Second Opinion'.
After two years in production there aren't many... I'd like to know why.

Many of those posts and the video is not from the manufacturer. They came from me.
I have no connection with AMR other than that I built the kit and wrote the product review in High Flight Magazine

Because it's a kit. Come on man, you know hardly anyone builds anymore.

Now THAT actually makes sense...

It looks like I'll have to take a chance on a BIG Sport plane...
