Asked this question in another forum, but perhaps this is where I should have asked the questions. Buying my first gasser. Have boiled it down to the Goldwing SBACH or the Goldwing Raven. Both have a 88" WS and run on a 50cc engine. !st question.... is Troybuilt a good place to go to buy these planes? 2nd question... any thoughts on a DLE 55cc engine. Would like to buy a DA, but its almost double the DLE. Any information will be appreciated.

Find a reputable seller that is trying to sell a used DA50. I see them all the time on R/C Universe for $325 and up.
I see alot of guys are trying upgrade to a DA60 and sell the 50's. Just my two cents of thought.
The DLE55 has a bit more power but service is better with the DA. I've got 2 DA50's and both run solid. As
for the frame check out Aztech R/C he has a Raven available and is a super person to deal with.

I second the the vote for Aztech R/C - outstanding customer service! I'm not associated in any way other than being a happy customer. Also, you can't go wrong with a DLE55, been flying one on a EG Aircraft Slick 540 all season (about 14 gallons thru it), and it's been an awesome engine. Always fires right up and have never had a deadstick. Used Sthil HP Ultra oil 32:1 for the first 2 gallons and then 40:1, after the needles were adjusted I haven't had the need to touch them all year. I bought the Slick from Aztech and it has been a very good purchase, flies well and it has held up extremely well. No failures or repairs needed to date. Mind you this was my first 50cc model and I'm very satisfied!

You being in Florida TBM is a good place to buy from. DLE is the best Chinese engine, DA is the best USA engine, DLE liked it so much they copied the 50 and made the DL50. The DLE55 is slightly more powerful than the DA50, but the DA60 is a lot more powerful than either of them.
The idea of picking up a used DA50 is a good one.
No thoughts on those plane, I've never had either, but I do love Yak54s and Extra260s.
