I still have mine. Not flown it in years but a 2.4 radio upgrade and maybe a carb kit just because of age. The Ag-Cat and my B-17 are part of the family.

Nice. I wonder how many other guys that posted here from years ago are still around? This thread was a hot topic for a while then abandoned. Good to see you here Randy.

Hey all is anyone still on here? I've stumbled across this kit thread after a crazy idea to build a large scale "maxi cat" or a turbine ag cat with a 12hp/9kw turbo prop motor. Does anyone know where the molds made it off to? Are there any in circulation that may be up for sale?

Happy New Year!

I'm still lurkin...still got the plans, but never was able to get a kit back in the day. I'll eventually build it, but when? I have a UMS 7-70 radial I'd like to mount, but not sure it'll be sufficient. Sure be nice to see more activity here...might get me motivated to cut a kit and build it!

I dont know what that radial is, but, mine flys nice with a G-38. The old magneto engine. I dont think there were ignition engines back then. Been hanging up far too long.

The UMS 7-70 is a 7cyl 70cc glow radial...probably similar in power to the G38...not a powerhouse but radials are cool. I have a number of gas singles that would work on this big bipe, but just the one radial...

Oh yea...radials are cool! I don't recall adding much ballast to hit my CG on the Ag-Cat, which seems a bit strange considering all the WW1 bipes that require pounds up front to balance. That radial should be perfect for this.
