I just acquired one of these NIB as a gift. I have read the good, the bad and the ugly on this aircraft on the other site. My desire here is to learn from RCU modelers their experience with this model and solutions they developed to work around the issues. That being said, I am aware of the main landing gear issue but would like to hear how you improved the installation, I am considering a three piece gear with one piece threw the fuselage and gear legs attached to it.

How strong is the motor box? Will it handle a DA-60?
