Hello folks
I have I believe is a giant great planes Cap 232 and I am having a very hard time to get it balanced I have moved every thing as far forward as possible and I am still having to add 2 lbs 12 oz of weight to the fire wall to balance it . but I am going by the manual from the arf version that has been discontinued from great planes . I am thinking that is was a kit version and may be a little different at the CG point so I guess I am asking if you think it may be so and does any one have a manual that you can get the proper CG for me .
Thanks a bunch folks .
Daniel.

http://adamone.rchomepage.com/cg_calc.htm Try this web site.. its really handy, I use it to verify CG that the kits provide and I get a range of positions to try for different configurations, keeps you from placing CG to forward or to far AFT.. A is good for any airplane any size, they even have a calc for canard airplanes.. good luck..

GP never had a kit version of that airplane and if they did the difference in CG would not be almost 3 pounds different. More information is needed pictures would be helpful in determining just what brand 232 you have, Rule of thumb for this type of airplane is to balance at 30% of MAC and go test fly.
