Default Giant Scale Super Chipmunk

I Have a super Chipmunk with a fiberglass fuselage. wingspan is 87 inches. It as Art Sholl scheme on it. The problem is I dont know the manufacture and I had a crash I need some parts, wings in particular. Any one know who makes it or have a set of wings for it would be great.

I did own a Great Planes Superchip-Fiberglass Fuse and built up wings. It has been out of production for a while I believe

Do you have any part of the wing? Is the fuselage in one piece? I can design a wing for you and you could have it made at flyingfoam.com. You can use the core to make your own wing. Here's an image of a plane I designed and a construction article was published for it in Flying Models magazine. Dan.

It's an old 3W kit. I doubt you would be able to order a set of wings. like Dan said, the best option is to have a set of foam cores cut for it. It's a nice airplane and IMO would be worth the effort.

Dan, do you have plans for the Macchi? I race a .45 size version and would like to give the new 55cc class a try. If you had some plans it would make it much easier for me.

speed, I draw the plans in AutoCAD and submitted them to Flying Models. The article appeared in the January 2012 issue. They are charging $44 for a full set. Do you have AutoCAD? Dan.

What are the specs? if it fits the bill I will order a set of plans, well worth the cost to start out with a fuse design, race wings are easy in comparison.

If you are looking to do a Scratch build of a 100" Super Chipmunk Fibertechnmore now has the laser cut kit available for sale on their website. Find them at www.fibertechnmore.com

If you want to see the Prototype build thread on the S Chip go to Flying Giants here;

I have one, havn't started on it yet, but the glasswork is very good and light too. I'm sure they can help you out with cores if thats what you have there - Good Luck!

Speed, I'm still trying to figure out this new RCU. I can send you a set of my Macchi plans as jpg files if you want to see them. Dan.

I have a NIB 3W kit and this is not one of them.
The 3W kit that was offered years back had a 101" wing.
As mentioned, your best bet would probably be to have a foam core cut and go from there...
