Default 88 inch Smith Miniplane

I'm a little new to the hobby compared to others, but enjoy building regardless. I was able to get the drawings for an 88 inch Smith Miniplane and have been looking up what info I could for the airplane. I've got it figured out structurally, but am curious if any patterns (or even parts) may exist for the cowling and wheel pants. I'm prepared to make my own if I have to. While on the subject, what type of power plant would you recommend. Saw a video of the same scale being restored and receiving a new DLE 60 twin. I've got a little time yet, since I'm still cutting out patterns for the flat sheet parts.

Mike
