Spraying dope with a window box fan
Will spraying Butyrate dope for 1/3 scale airplanes create an explosion environment in a portable 6' X 8' spray booth with a box fan and furnace filter in a window or is an explosion proof fan absolutely needed?

Most fans use brushless induction motors. No brush, no spark, no explosion. If you are moving enough air to be able to stay in the booth it probably isn't concentrated enough to sustain combustion. Stagnant air where the fumes can collect in one place is more dangerous.
