5" back from the leading edge of the top wing, as shown on the drawing.

I finished a Lazy Ace, with 6' wings, using Coroplast as the main building material.

Weight came in at 17 lbs, powered by a DLE-35ra, have over 115 flights, flies like a dream.

Very nice - do you have any additional photos or build photos - never thought about doing it in coroplast. Where does one find coroplast?

Here is the link to the build on RC Universe: http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/scra...coroplast.html

I get coroplast from Reece Supply Company near Dallas, TX, it is a wholesale supplier to the sign, screen printing and digital imaging industries, you should be able to find a similar company where you are. The cost per 4' x 8' sheet is about $11.They have it in about 20 different colors. Home Depot carries it but the cost is much higher.

A few years ago, a guy built an 8' wingspan Piper Cub from coroplast and I got a lot of my building tips from him.

One thing I found out is that it actually takes about a few days for the slow CA to reach full strength to bond with coroplast. Don't try to rush it.

Default interplane N struts

I am mostly done with a 76" Lazy Ace after working off and on for the last 2 years.

In the kit were provided 6 strips of 1/4" ply to make the struts from the plan. I am looking for an alternative method. Any other ideas out there?

thanks in advance
