Default DHC-2 Need help identifying manufacturer

I'm just getting back into the hobby (January 09) and I need some help in figuring out this project airplane I just bought from a person leaving the hobby to fly full-scale aircraft. He had never flown the plane.

From what I can tell, I am the next in a long list of owners. It needs some TLC. Probably stripped down to balsa and redone.

It is a de Havilland Beaver DHC-2. Wingspan is 82", fusleage is approximately 60". The covering is a preprinted self-sticking variety. The fuselage has "Kenmore Air Harbor" printed on the sides.

I cannot find any information on it. Has anyone out there owned one of these, or seen one at your club? Is it an ARF? Kit build? What size engine? Does anyone have manual/plans, etc?

Here are links to the pictures:

Any help is appreciated.

Unionville Hobby in Canada [no website to my amazement] has a number of De Havilland kits in various models and sizes [Otter, Beaver etc.]

I have a large Otter that was built from one of their kits by somebody many years ago and since I needed a cowl, I called them. They can be reached at 905-640 1534. I was sent a brochure with the cowl, showing the kits, with some pictures of the finished product. Give it a try.

Dont look like a unionville kit From the way its built inside it dont look familiar to me .I have the unionville turbo beaver still in construction Ive done major redesigning to its insides the Radial verson probably wasnt much differant in the wing area as the turbo. There wingspans are 72 " and 96" here is there website that you can get them at http://www.greathobbies.com/index.php

I'd say it's a old Vmar arf kit.
