Default Engine Instillation

Hi . I'm building a " Big Fifty " its an enlarged Nifty Fifty. . My plans are very dull and torn . I have all the wings and fuse and tail section built.. I need some info on putting the engine on this ship. I have a leaf-blower 30 cc with a flange mount . I need to know if there is a right thrust and a down thrust on the giant planes as is on the small ones.??? The small Nifty-Fifty has a 3 degree right thrust and a 2 degree down thrust. The "BIg Fifty " has a w/s of 108 in. The small Nifty-Fifty has a w/s of 40 in. This is my first Giant Scale Gasser . Flyeboy . []

I have a little right thrust on my Big Bee. Have you got any pictures of the big 50? I am wondering if that will be enough engine for that large of a plane.

Yeah, with the flat bottom wing, I would definitely put a little down thrust in too. Probably the setting that work for the little one will be ok for the big one.

Texastbird; The plans called for a Zenoa23. I am going to put in a 2' down and a 2' right thrust and try it. Thanks.

The way I build, I would need a G62 for that size plane[:@]! Post more pictures of your build as you progress.
