Default troy built models ignition module ?

Has anyone used these with a smart-fly unit? TBM sold me this under the impression that smart-fly approves of its use, unfortunately they do not so I have no support. I am using the smart-fly sport plus with a futaba 14 channel receiver and a DLE55. I cannot get the ignition cutoff led to stay on. ANy advice would be appreciated.

Thanks all

I dont want you to think that I am insulting your intelligence but this. Check that your connection to the smart fly system is correct. I have the same system but I am using a 9CH. I also know that if the reciever or transmitter is off the unit will not turn on. Its a safety feature that you probably already know about. That might give you a clue that you may have a incorrect connection somewhere or you just did not turn on your reciever. Also, check to make sure that the system is plugged into the smart fly unit correctly. Maybe you did a simple overlook.

It is all hooked up correctly. I unhooked it and replaced it with a battery and the optical unit LED stays on now. I think I am going to get rid of this. After talking to the SMart-fly engineer I do not think the risk is worth the weight savings. Thanks for your input.
