Jamara/CMPRO Quest 50
I have just bought a Jamara Quest 50 and will start converting it to elecric as soon as the plane is in the house.
I will use a OS 5020 490KV motor on 5s.
Want to know if someone have already converted the Quest to electric?
Knut I.

I have started, but not finished it yet. :-)
Servos, motor and esc is in place. The motor is mounted on aluminium standoffs and the esc is mounted in the tunnel behind the cowl.
The battery tray is cut but not mounted yet. I don't know yet if I will just remove the wing to change batteries or if I will modify the canopy.
I can take some pictures when I'm back home.

Here's some pictures of the conversion.
Motor is mounted on aluminium standoffs and the ESC is under the battery tray.
Maiden went well, but with cg at 115mm at root it was a bit nose heavy. Will move it back 10mm before next flight.
I did as I use to do with the throws: set something that seems to be ok and fly it. Then make adjustments to personal taste.
The OS5020 is a good fit to this plane with 5s 4000mAh lipo. Lots of power with APC 15x10.
