33% Great Planes Extra 330L Conversion

Great Planes Extra 330L 1/3 scale kit
Wing Span: 100.5”
Wing Area: 1670sq. in.
2 Hacker C50 13XL motors through the new high power InnerDemon gear drive at a 5.58-1 ratio (12/67)
2 Hacker Master 77amp 30-cell ESC
2-8S-8000 packs of ThunderPower LiPoly cells
24 x 12 APC-E Prop
Frank did an outstanding job converting this plane and Jason Shulman did a fine job of maidening it:

I love it. I'd love to see a power system like this on a large 80-100 inch warbird.

The only thing i dont like about these are that trrible sound of electric hackers. I mean you hear them big 3Ws and DAs go, but then u hear an electric motor. Its just annoying to me. Like all that work on a plane and it sounds like crap. PUT A BIG MUFFLER ON THAT

I guess so LOL...I mean Im just used to the gusy with the 40% cardens and DA150s and my 3W 75iUS...Its so different to me. I do tho like my foamie hacker powered model. If you go here it kind a sounds koolin the house while hovering:

Good Vid's. I think I hear that the most. That the sound is what is missing. I do like to hear the gassers on fly by, but there are more and more restrictions being enforced at clubs due to the noise level. Out of hand development is contributing to that. I have become accustomed to not hearing my planes, but it is strange at times to see my Funtana or Kyosho Sukhoi coming down the line and not hearing it until I get 20-30 yards out. .

Yea it sure is cool. I respect al of you guys and what you believ. I just happen not to be the biggest fdan of the hguge planes in electric conversions. Sure would be coll do get my hands on one tho
