Hi guys,
Been reading posts and looking at pics ect....
I see its popular to mount the motor w/ blind nuts and long threaded screws that are sleaved for spacing....
Obviosly I can get the bolts at the hardware store....
where do I get these sleves/spacers that cover the bolts?
Thanks

Cheapest way is to get a dowel, put it in a drill press vice and using a drill press drill out the center. Next cheapest way, poke around the hardware store and you will find something that will work, even hard auto fuel line will work. Next cheapest, Hobby Lobby has kits with all sizes. Norm

vertol - the cheapest way is to use a PVC pipe cut to the length that you need and that is put at the back of the motor to keep the correct space. Then you use the long bolts to mount the motor on. What I do is to make my own mount using aluminium rods, you get the ID (inner diameter) and OD (outer diameter) sorted out and have them in different lengths. Its the same as what you can buy from Aircraft World. The Hyperion style ones. Hope the pictures help you to get an idea ...
