Hi all
Just thought id share my conversion with you.
I bought this Blackbird a while ago. Fly boy models is the maker!! Anyway it was for a 46size ic engine but i thought a brushless conversion was needed not only for the sound but as i understand the ic engine with the prop resrictions made the plane very slow..
The video was done the other week..yes this is summer[
] sorry about the quality and i need to get more practice with the landings

I am doing the same plane for a friend. I need some stats. What battery system what motor how many Kv diameter size and length what propeller, etc. The more info I can get the better I can finish the plane. i want it to fly good not under powered or slow.

Hi C141FlyGuy
Sorry but ive been away for a while
Im flying it on a pair of 4c 2200mah 20c lipos, in tandem so ive got 4400mah and 14.8v, a 60a esc and a 2826/08 pro flight motor from www.gobrushless .co.uk
The plane has a max 10in prop gap so im running a 10/8 apc
It seems to work well without any hot batts or esc
Hope this helps
Good luck
