I have a Hobbico NexStar Select EP trainer a friend gave me. The plane is damaged beyond repair, so I'd like to use the Rx, batteries, servos, ESC/motor in another plane. Does anyone know what would be a perfect plane for this?
The NexStar has a wingspan of 68" and weight is 7-8.5 lbs.
It has a Rimfire brushless motor, 42-50-800, and uses (2) 9.6V, 3600 mAh NiMh batteries.
What I'd like is a Great Planes Big Stick 40 or 60. Would either one of these work and how easy would it be to convert?
If not, what would you suggest?
