RE: Lil Toni E-Conversion
Not bad...those are pretty quick...I think I am looking for something somewhat scale though....like the Toni or the Sundowner....as of right now I am leaning more towards the Sundowner due to the fact its built with electrics in mind....it will be really easy to change out batterys at the field.

RE: Lil Toni E-Conversion
Yeah ... EP ready planes are much better, less hassles and no worries about access and CG. I am working on my Kyosho Kelly EP. Its been slow, I can't go too fast because the EP version has an integrated cowling and that ends with a nose ring of which I am told is weak. I am gunning for no more than 80 mph, just keep her scale and good looking. What I find a pain about going super fast with scale EP planes is the wing loading does go up quite a lot. As what I have read from the forums a 40-50 sized plane will have an AUW of about 10 lbs. That is like 4 lbs more than the glow version.
This is MarkF's plane ... [link=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0x9YS5uJ3QE]Kelly Racer[/link] |
