Default Saito Red Valve covers

Saito has introduced red finned valve covers as available for the big Sito engines.

There is a size for the 220/FG36 and another for the 120,150,180, FG-30, and the twins using these cylinders

Secraft has had these available for a couple years minus the Saito Logo.
Looks like the same parts with the added saito logo.

It would be a shame to waste them on a gasoline engine.

Do they add anything to the performance of the engine, like weight saving or added cooling?

How much heat can you transfer across a 1mm wide gasket like that?

Use high temperature silicone gaskets. Besides, I don't see the problem if the gasket leaks, though I'm sure some of the perfectionist types would be upset.

If they were made from cast aluminum, I might buy them. But plastic? Nope. That stuff doesn't belong on any engine as far as I'm concerned.

" Cooling UP, to dress up love machine"

Gotta love it!

Some things just don't quite translate too well! Next we'll have "Available now for to Pimp Your Plane"

Called a friend who's quite fluent in Japanese, speaks, reads, writes, after pulling up the link in it's original format he thinks that it should say; "increased cooling to dress up your favorite engine(motor, machine)" The confusion comes in the JapEnglish use of "up" in our letters mixed into the japanese characters trying to imply "bigger or higher" (by context, which google doesn't recognize)

A shame they don't have them for the FA56GK; a set of blue covers would be nice on my Bluehawk profile Ultimate Bipe!

raw link, untranslated.
