From: Houston, TX,
I used to fly a Picco 40 about 10 years ago. I never saw them much then, and for sure never see them now. I know they still make engines for cars, but do they still make engines for airplanes? Also, what is the difference between Picco and CMB (did I spell that right?)?

Picco and CMB are two different manufacturers. CMB primarily made killer boat engines. If you want a new Picco you can buy one under the Skyward name brand in Canada. They contracted Picco to build engines for them and they are identical in every respect to Picco engines except for the black case and "S" logo on the case. The prices are unbelieveably low for such a quality engine. I guess nobody knows about them!
Here's the website and it has pictures, too

They ship to the US and take visa and mastercard as well! They are beautifully crafted engines that perform well.
