Hey all,
I recently picked up a almost new Webra 40 and would hate to throw it because it has no muffler. I believe that this is the earlier version that uses a strap on muffler as I could not find any regular bolt holes. Does any one know where I could buy such mufflers?
many thanks

If the boss on the side of the exhaust is large enough you can drill and tap the exhaust stack to fit a wide range of exhaust systems.
This is what I did with this Webra Speed 10cc. (see attached)
I have to say I never really had too much luck with the hose clamped on exhaust systems.

These people make a strap-on for 40's. I had one and it fit all the old 40's I tried it on.

I have one of the late model Webra mufflers. It has two lugs that capture the exhaust stack on the engine case. This one is drilled/tapped for the bolt through late model engines.
The only difference between the early and late styles were the location of the holes. On the strap-on the holes were 90 degrees to allow the use of the strap.
(PS: I'm not using this one if you're interested in it, PM me.)

Do they have a centering (piloting) feature to help keep the adaptor aligned on the stack as the engine vibrates?
