Default Saito FA 82A

I have a Saito FA 82A that is close to 2 years old I have ran about 6 gallons of fuel through it. An excellent engine. My question concerns the needle valve, from full rich to lean is about 1/3 turn of the needle valve. Is this normal?

There are a lot of variables involved, sounds reasonable though.

The band expands a little with 30% nitro and narrows more with straight methanol. It would get very narrow with gasoline.
