My next plane will be a Dave Patrick Extra 330L and I'm trying to decide between a Saito 180 and a YS 140. I presently have a couple of 180s and like them very much. They are pretty much hassle free and low maintenance. I've read all I can about the YS 140 and think its a powerful well built engine, but all the talk about adjusting it and getting the fuel tank set up and adjusting the pump and setting the idle, is putting me off. Is it really that much hassle?
Also, whats the main difference(s) between the YS140 sport and the DZ?
Any help on making this selection is appreciated!

The DZ is easier to setup since there is no pressurized tank setup, it uses mechanical fuel injection. It is quite more powerful than the 140 sport with a higher price tag. The 140 sport is about the same price of a Saito but I suspect it will be less powerful. It should be more reliable though.
The DZ is more powerful than the Saito and is quite more expensive but every aspect is better than the Saito.
Just a side note, I own a DZ and it is very reliable and strong but it is WAY too expensive on fuel, not that it draws too much fuel but it must use special low viscosity fuel that is more expensive.
Also, I don't think that either choice would be a good choice. I see guys using the moki 2.10 which is really more powerful than the YS for this plane. My YS is on a 11lbs CAP 232 and in this plane, it is really powerful.
