I have a world models Cub-48. It has a 71 inch wing span and calls for a 40 size 2 stroke engine. I have an OS 40 FP and an OS 46 FX. Which of these engines would be the best choice for this plane. The FP is alot lighter and smaller than the FX. All up weight should be around 5 1/2 to 6 pounds.

I half agree with Galen the Cub I have had a Super Tigre 40 on it and was too much so I switched to a Saito 45 perfect motor for this plane. As far as the FP I used to have one and after many wasted days trying to get it running right I fianlly figured out what "FP" stands for....... F-ing Problems. Maybe it was me but I started noticing more and more of my clubs members using SF's and FX's instead of FP's.
