I have a Evolution 1.00NX with a 14X8 MA Scimitar prop. It runs fine, but seems to freewheel. It takes a while for the rpms to come down. Is this a characteristic of these larger glow engines or should I try a different prop. Any suggestions would be great...thanks!

are you saying as you Lower the Stick from Full Throttle to Idle the RPMs come down but stay high when it should be Idling, then the RPM slowly come down to a lower Idle,, ??
if you say yes the Idle could be to lean or it has an Air Leak somewhere, try tightening all bolts, on the Head and Backplate, make sure the Carburetor is not leaking

Thanks Jim...I'll check that all out. I also heard about the fuel line between the needle valve and carb causing trouble. I'll change it as well.
