Anyone know what's up with ASP engine production? I've purchased these from a China retailer whose name I probably needn't mention in the past but they have been out of stock for quite some time now. I placed a chat inquiry with them yesterday and was told they will not be back in stock for the foreseeable future. So, anyone know what gives?
And yes I know they are the same as Magnum which I also like but they have ballooned in price recently. The Magnum 1.20 4 stroke is now $339 compared to $169 for the ASP. I guess you can list any price if you don't have it but I have actually purchased the ASP at that price and it runs fantastic, which is why I'm trying to get another one. I don't HAVE to have a blue valve cover.
Anyway, does anyone have any insight on this situation.
Thanks

FWIW, the blue valve cover for a Mag 52 is , or was $6.95. It was the only part different in the parts list between the Grey and Blue versions.
Also FWIW, the Mag and ASP 1.20 is a really heavy engine. Compare the weight between the O.S and Saito 1.20 and it. The smaller engines though are on par with the O.S. engines.

Hobby Partz has some still in stock. They have been getting them in regularly. These are the generic versions without a logo on the crankcase.
