Problems Starting? Help
Im a newbie and Im having trouble starting my new OS 46 la engine? Which way do you turn the prop to start? Stupid question I know but my manual is not clear about chicken sticking the motor. Please help!

Thats Odd! My friend has the exact same motor and he turns clockwise to the right if you face the plane. It starts and flys? However my manual confirms your advice with an arrow.

His is kicking (bouncing back-) on the compression and starting counterclockwise-
Or it may start backwards then change directions...
Look at the propeller blades- that will help
