Tower 75 and Bisson Pitts muffler
Hi Guys,
I picked up a GP Shoestring racer 1/4 scale (old version) and wanted to power it with a Tower 75 and pitts muffler. What prop would you recommend for speed? You think it would be enough power for a 8.0 lbs plane, or should I go with an os 90 or 120? Thanks in advance.

RE: Tower 75 and Bisson Pitts muffler
I have been flying that same combo for many years. I have tried every prop under the sun, and always seem to end up back with an APC 12x7 on it. The Midget Mustang is a different story, as that model is running the Stock Tower Muffler which really unloads with an APC 11-7. There seams to be quite a difference between the mufflers power wise. The Bisson really chokes the Tower .75 in my opinion.
