Default ROYAL ENGINE

I ended up with an old plane that has a Royal 45 engine on it. Any value to the engine?
its dirty and could use a cleaning. Is there any on line help with an owners manual and the
cleaning process.. thanks....

Most of the Royal line of engines were made by LeoEngines I.E. Taiwan. They were mainly clones of the OS line and many parts are interchangeable with OS. Can't think of any real value to them except fond memories of years of service if that is the case.

The Royal was an O.S. clone and and the one with the raised lettering on the side was a terrific engine. You rarely find them new in box because people ran the heck out of these things. For a manual, look at the MECOA website for the MECOA .40 which is another O.S. clone and has interchangeable parts.
