Webra Speed 120 part needed
I need help in finding a source to buy a carb retaining bolt and nut for the Webra Speed 120. Is there a source for parts in the U.S. or Canada? Would a retaining bolt and nut from another brand fit the engine? Thanks for your assistance.

The part number is
retaining bolt 1037/16O
You can find the old Webra web-site here. http://web.archive.org/web/200609230...r=AERO&lang=EN
Try Pauls Model supply, He's got a bunch of Webra parts and will probably have it.

Thanks for your quick response. I called Paul, but he didn't have it and asked me to contact Swift Electronics in Winnipeg. I'll give them a try. I appreciate the Webra link as it answers some questions.

RE: Webra Speed 120 part needed
I recently had this retaining bolt fall off of my Webra 120. Lucky the barrel didn't move far enough to allow the spring to get in the crank shaft. I searched quite a bit for a replacement to no avail. So I took a M4x16mm socket head screw, clamped it in my vise with about 4 mm of the threads on the very end exposed. Then I used my Dremel tool to remove the 4mm of threads leaving a shoulder to protrude into the carb barrel slot. I also added a #4 nut to lock it down. Used a little Loctite on the threads and it works great. Engine is restored.
This part is fairly easy to fabricate.
