Default engine care

I recently crashed my plane running an Evolution .40. The resulted in minimal damage to the plane. Broken main gear and broken prop, however, there was a lot of dirt stuck to the oil on the plane and engine area. Is there anything special that you recommend I do besides clean all of the dirt off of the engine and surrounding area? I don't believe that any dirt got into the carb BTW.

Thanks,

Mark--

Are you experienced with 2 strokes? If you are sure no dirt got in the carb just cover the carb and exhaust with your fingers and squirt it off with the hose, dry it off, and squirt it down with wd40. If there could be a chance it got inside, then take it all apart(just be sure which way the con rod came off), wash with dish detergent, dry thoroughly, wd40 it(to displace the water), let all the wd40 run out on a towel, add a little after run oil, assemble it back together, go fly.

I hate when I sink one into the mud!
