Engine Placement

I recently removed my engine, evolution 46, from the motor mount to make a minor repair. How do I know if I have the engine put back in the exact right spot eg. not too far forward or back or to the left or right. Obviously it has to be forward enough to allow for the prop. There really isn't enough room to measure on each side.

It's not that critical.
Set the engine so that you have 1/4 to 3/8 clearance for the prop and go fly.
If you know the proper balance point though, you can adjust the engine's fore and aft position to get it as close as you can.
The side thrust again, is not critical, but try to get the engine mounted straight with the beams of the mount. This will be more than close enough.
