[:@] I have a n OS Max 40 that is not marked on the side as FP, FX or other. Ther is a make on the underside of the motor mount stamped fp. This is a plain bearing ringed engine that has lost compression after about 1 hour of test running. I ran it rich with Sig 10% 20% oil in short duration runs. After a short time at full throttle it lost compression and is now KAPUTT as far as I am concerned. I have several older OS Max engines from the 70's and they have performed great and still do running the same fuel..Any ideas??

If "The Flying Model" would post some pictures, both sides, top and bottom, maybe we could identify the engine and get some ideas.
The FP was a plain bearing engine, but it was not an engine with a piston ring.
Bill.
