I have seen comments to the effect that Fox is no longer making glow plugs as well as engines. Last night I talked to Trisha and Ralph Fox (the owners of Fox Mfg. who are personal friends of my wife and I) and asked them if they have stopped making their glow plugs. The answer is they are still being made and can be bought through Tower Hobbies, etc.

I didn't think they had stopped making glow plugs. I think they also sell them to some others who sell them under different brand names too. Thanks for confirming it. It is nice to know as those Fox plugs are what I primarily use for my engines.

I really like Fox glow plugs. The RC Long is my go-to 2-stroke plug, and I really like the Miracle plug as a cost effective alternative to the O.S. F-type plug.
I just placed a Tower Hobbies order a few days ago, however, and I ordered McCoy MC-59 and MC-4C plugs instead. Both of my favorite Fox plugs were unavailable. McCoy plugs are also terrific.

Hopefully Tower will re-list them as available shortly. As of a couple of minutes ago, they were still showing as Temporarily Unavailable for most of the glow plugs that I normally purchase:

Right on the engines though. I called today to order a Fox 60 with the new carb. Said they had no engines and hadn't made any in over a year. I said, 'when should I call back?' The receptionist couldn't say for sure..... Crossing my fingers. I have never ran a Fox and I want one of those Eagle 4's bad,
