Default Pumps

I would like to know what you think is better, the Cline or the Perry pumps.

The Cline is a regulator and uses crankcase or muffler to pressurize the tank. The Perry's create as many problems as they cure.

I think some of the Perry pumps are just bad. Probably in storage too long. I have never had a problem, but apparently the regulator doesn't work on many of them.

I've had some luck running the pump wide open. There is a "T" at the carb to allow excess fuel to return to the tank. The carb takes what it wants and the rest is recirculated.
