My first Evo engine. Evo 33GX in a Hanger 9 Valiant.

I have an Evolution .61 that was new and never run on an ARF I got at a auction. I don"t know which model NX or NT it is is there any way to tell? Does it make any difference? It runs great but idle isn't so good. I have put a Fox idle bar plug but haven't had a chance to check it out yet. Presently with an APC 11x5 mounted

Dump the Fox idle bar plug. Idle bars went out of style and purpose in the 70's when modern scavenging methods were finally used in glow engines. Just use a hot plug and you'll do fine. As to your idle problem a little more info is needed as to symptoms.

OK I went a looked at my Evolution again. It is all metal colur. No Blue anodize. The .61 on the cly head isn't there this might be a .60 If i recall these were the first ones imported.
